THE BRIEF
Femina Hip approached Poppins to collaborate on a 5-minute animation based on the story
“UJIO WA UMRI.” The goal was to raise awareness about the social impacts of puberty.
The comic “UJIO WA UMRI” highlights the importance of giving young people accurate
information about puberty. Education helps them embrace their changing bodies and

Given that the story was featured in Femina Hip Magazines, we aimed to maintain the same
look and feel of the characters and environment to preserve authenticity for both the
magazine’s readers and the animation’s viewers.
We ensured the characters were brought to life with unique facial expressions, enhancing their
emotional connect
SOLUTION PROVIDED
Our creative team leveraged their filmmaking skills and decided to incorporate additional
elements not present in the original print, ensuring the movie became captivating. We added
